As a former educator turned self-taught visual artist and Graphic Designer, my journey has been guided by a deep immersion in this love, which permeates every stroke of my brush and pixel of my design. I used to paint occassionaly in my spare time, but after the COVID pandemic and my retirement from teaching, I decided to follow my dream to be a full-time artist.     Darkroom Dialogues: Film & Photogram Series This series brings together two analog techniques—film photography and photograms—both created in the darkroom using black-and-white processes. While film captures moments through the lens, photograms use objects placed directly on photo paper to leave behind abstract, camera-less impressions. Together, they explore light, shadow, and presence in quiet conversation—one rooted in observation, the other in pure form and intuition.

    Nocturnal Solitude" is a mesmerizing black and white film photograph that captures the enchanting beauty of the night with exquisite detail and artistry. Through its evocative imagery and timeless aesthetic, the photograph invites viewers to embark on a journey of exploration and introspection, guided by the gentle glow of a solitary light source amidst the darkness.

    Project Description - Through a Gate of Light - A photographic tribute

    This work is both a memorial and an expression of faith, channeling my hope in Christ to see my daughter again in eternity. this project to keep the memory of my daughter alive, while exploring personal healing and redemption. Through photography, Photoshop for image editing and creation, collage and layering, drawing and painting, I want to create a tribute that combines her artistic vision with my faith in the transformative power of Jesus. The butterfly represents transformation, hope and resurrection, while the eye of the photographer and the camera symbolize her unique perspective. I am trying to depict both the beauty of her spirit and the faith-based promise of our reunion in the spiritual realm.

Created using a Gelli plate monotype, the image was hand-colored with watercolor and ink, blending printmaking and painting to highlight the warmth, culture, and quiet strength of this moment.

The piece blends photography, ink, watercolor, and digital composition.Surrounding the imagery, I inscribed a personal poem that declares: “I am a woman, not an ornament.” The work directly confronts the misogyny and abuse , reclaiming voice and agency for my mother and for all women who have suffered in silence.This piece is both remembrance and resistance—a call to see women not as decorations, but as whole, powerful beings shaped by their own stories.

This drypoint of plexiglass is an intaglio technique where the image was scratched directly onto plexiglass plate with a sharp instrument. The scratched lines created burrs, which hold sepia ink and produced lines when printed onto damp paer using a printing press. The result is a textured, graphic composition that serves as a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of hope waiting to be discovered—a beacon of light guiding us through the storm.

    Through the interplay of graphite and charcoal, light and shadow, "From Despair to Hope" captures the universal human experience of navigating through times of hardship and finding solace in the promise of a brighter tomorrow. It serves as a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of hope waiting to be discovered—a beacon of light guiding us through the storm.

    String Attached - Linear Art Series This series, String Attached, explores the invisible threads that connect us—to people, to passions, to memory. Created using minimal, continuous line work, each piece portrays a figure or form intertwined with symbolic elements like music, love, or loss. The “strings” in these drawings represent emotional bonds—delicate yet powerful, visible yet intangible. Through this linear style, the work invites viewers to reflect on the connections that shape us: those we cherish, those we carry, and those we sometimes need to let go. String Attached is both a visual and emotional mapping of human connection—rendered in lines as fragile and strong as the ties they symbolize.

    Use of vector lines and thoughtful integration of architectural and calendrical elements, it exemplifies the marriage of form and function in contemporary design.The building was named in honor of Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as children's author Dr. Seuss.

    Digital art meticulously crafted portrait of Henry Ford, created using Adobe Illustrator's pen tool to intricately capture his features. The artist skillfully employs lights and shades to bring depth and dimension to the portrait, evoking a sense of realism and character. The play of light highlights Ford's iconic features while the subtle interplay of shadows adds depth and mood to the artwork.
